"SuperCamp was truly an incredible experience, There I learned many items for success including test taking strategies, reading and writing skills, as well as simple life tips that I will use for the rest of my life. In addition, I learned the importance of building trust among my friends. I met friends ranging from Texas to Colorado to Belgium! Overall, SuperCamp was an experience I will never forget!"

THE DECISION PROCESS
The number of full and partial SuperCamp scholarships awarded each year varies and depends on the following factors:

  • The amount of money donated to Learning Forum International for SuperCamp scholarships
  • The number of spaces available at SuperCamp sites for scholarship recipients
  • The academic and personal needs of the student
  • The financial need of the student's family

Scholarship applications received by April 15, 2010, are reviewed by the Learning Forum International Scholarship Committee.  Applicants are advised of the results by May 14, 2010.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE SUGGESTIONS

  • Send all application material together – and send it EARLY!

Early receipt of material enables scholarship administrator to ensure that the application is complete and ready for submission to the committee.

  • Hard copies of applications can be sent via U.S. mail or other carrier. Applications can also be scanned and emailed. Faxing is not recommended as material is sometimes difficult to read and all pages may not be received. (Faxed photos are not accepted.)
  • If confirmation of receipt of application is not received in ten days please follow up with scholarship administrator.
  • Be flexible with campus and date choices.
  • Commit to maximum possible tuition contribution. Seek help from family, friends and community organizations.
